Seriously ventilation is non negotiable, beyond all the necessities you already know, it's all about timing and distance, too close and it clumps, too far and it just floats away
I can tell you that safety is important. The absolute number one priority is a sealed, well ventilated space and proper PPE like a respirator with ammonia specific cartridges, gloves, and goggles. Ammonia is dangerous, don't take any shortcuts
