Where can i find moldavite??

I wanted to try making some jewelry and i kinda like the green color that moldavite has so i want to make some unique pieces with it but i don't know where to find it. Does anyone know?

Good choice! It's got that distinct green look and a cool backstory. Good move posting here, hope someone here got a hot lead, try rock and mineral shows too. Just be careful, there are a lot of fakes out there, so make sure you're buying from a reputable seller.

With how much fake moldavite is flooding the market, anyone still buying it on Etsy or TikTok without testing it might as well be throwing cash at colored glass and calling it energy.

Fakes indeed create a real issue for makers. Working with mystery glass from an unreliable source can ruin a project when it cracks or melts unexpectedly. Its chemical composition is totally unknown which makes consistent work impossible. I wonder if @BrownieBatter ever managed to find a reliable source for their project. It would be interesting to know if they got started on any pieces.
